You can´t sit on a mountain contemplating goats all of the time, so I met up with my best friend in the El Born district of Barcelona for an old fashioned girly weekend of cocktails, shopping, tapas and possibly some more cocktails.

I´d found the Park Hotel on the web, and it´s just perfect. It´s fairly cheap (we paid 180 euros for two nights), it´s crispy clean and the staff was down right adorable. Also, it´s location is pretty unbeatable, across the street from França station and right in the middle of hip & happening El Born.
El Born is filled with an odd combination of cute little cafe´s, yoga places and whoppingly expensive designer garb. They also have an entire shop devoted to Lomo photography! Lucky bastards.
Do: bring all your credit cards!
Don´t: lose sight of your bag, it could be gone before you know it.
