Thai Restaurant Siam in Torre del Mar: worth the wait

Fried banana: YUM
First impressions:
Not much of an effort has gone into giving Siam any kind of Thai feel.
The only waiter looks like he should have retired a long time ago. Actually, he made us feel so bad that we started clearing tables for him, so maybe he´s got the right idea. Also, he´s quite deaf and he only appears to understand orders in very loud German.

>>>More food: Chez Spice near Velez-Malaga: a bit of a disappointment
It took about two hours to get a main course. Good stuff though, so once the food was there we didn´t really mind any more.
Great value for money: we paid 49.50 euros for a starter (nice springrolls), main, drinks (they have Singha beer!) and coffee for three people.
Do have the fried banana dessert, I had one bite and I was hooked!
Don´t go here if you´re in any kind of a hurry. And I wouldn´t recommend the rose wine.

We went there last summer and we did not have to wait quite as long. We were glad to be sitting in the shade, anyway. The food was great, loved the bananas, and even the children liked it!
