Even without a canine, the staff are rude, especially the young Spanish waiter with the greased back hair. A new guy recently started (with glasses) who is very nice and even asks how you are! The Manager is grumpy old sod too; the reception staff are mostly zombified. However... the food is good, very good, indeed the new Snack menu is a bargain and quality/taste 5 star. It is best to ignore rude staff; I am rude to them now and get them jumping through hoops to satisfy me. Just don't take the dog. The Spanish need to work on the hospitality issue countrwide; a work in progress. I concur with the comment about the hotel being rude.
