Moving To Andalusia

They’re Spain’s most glamorous couple and everybody was hoping they’d get married next year. Me too, because I LOVE weddings. Pen would look so pretty and I wouldn’t mind lots and lots of pics of Javier in a snazzy suit.

Also, it would be big news for the gossip rags such as Hola! and, to be honest, that would be good news for me. Right now when I pick up a Hola! half the time I don’t have a clue who these ‘famous’ folks are. There’s a very public paternity debate going on with a certain baronesa Thyssen (they’re an incredibly  rich family, something with steel and wepaons, and  they founded the Thyssen-Boromesa museum in Madrid ). Apparently, Tita Thyssen’s daughter in law is on her THIRD (!) paternity test to prove her child was actually fathered by her husband, Tita’s son. I’m not sure why you’d need three though. Then again, maybe it’s just my Spanish (or lack thereof;)

Usually when I don’t regognize someone in Hola! or the endless gossip tv programmes on the tv, they’re either a toreador or the (ex)girlfriend of a toreador.

Anyway, back to Pen & Javier: what went wrong? There was supposedly an engagement, big plans to adopt a child from India and the hot couple was going to take next year off from filming to spend some more time together.

That was until Javier decided he couldn’t say no to a great oppurtunity to work with director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu starring in the film Biutiful.

A source said “Penelope is really angry because she turned down a few really good roles because she was so committed to their sabbatical.”

Doesn’t sound like there’s going to be a Penelope wedding anytime soon. Guess I’m back to reading about the ex-girlfriend of some toreador….
